Hatem Ben Arfa's advisor has revealed that Nigel De Jong has yet to apologize for the tackle which left the Newcastle midfielder with a double leg break.

Ben Arfa was caught late by Man City midfielder De Jong and is now set to miss most of the season after signing for Newcastle on loan from Marseille less than two months ago.
Simon Stainrod, who advises Ben Arfa, said: ""There's been no contact - De Jong hasn't been in touch at all. Brian Marwood, who is a top-class professional person, sent a note from Manchester City saying everyone wished him a speedy recovery and sent a gift - but that's it.
""A visit from De Jong wasn't put to him. Brian wanted to visit but Hatem was on morphine at the time. The facts of the matter are he hasn't been in touch and he hasn't apologized. Brian Marwood has been in touch, but not de Jong.
""I played football professionally for 20 years and know the difference between a dangerous and malicious tackle, and one that isn't. Newcastle are absolutely right in what they did
[complaining to the FA]. I've spoken to people in European football who are dumbfounded he got away with it.
""I'm also outraged there are people on TV who have played the game and have said it was just a heavy challenge. Tackles like that endanger people's careers.''
